When configuring your Stackla Slack plugin, authorization is required. During this process, you may encounter an authorization error, like the following:
Certain permissions are required in order to authorize apps within Slack. By default when installing Slack for the first time, all slack users have permission to install apps, however, this is often changed by Slack Owners/Admins.
If you've run into an authorization error, please contact your Slack Owners or Admins, in order to proceed. There are two methods to achieve this:
- Ask your Slack Owners/Admins to temporarily grant you permissions to authorize the Stackla App (once the Stackla app is authorized, permissions can be reverted back).
- If your Stackla platform has an unused seat(s), invite your Slack Owners/Admins to your Stack to install and configure the Slack plugin.
